As a Construction Administrator with over 40 years of experience, I enjoy projects which contribute to the well-being of people and society. I appreciate the work McGranahan does in educational facilities. I believe that architecture exists to serve the community. When a building becomes a collection of concrete, steel, and wood we forget the people who occupy them and we lose our purpose. I remember one occasion when I accompanied a group of potential students on a tour of a new university campus I was involved in. The excitement of the students was a reminder of this point which I will always remember. I try to incorporate my spiritual beliefs in the value and dignity of human life into my work.
