I serve as a Principal and Director of Quality Control for McGranahan Architects. As a Principal, I enjoy supporting my colleagues in providing high-quality documents and service to clients. I work with our clients to set the project vision and work with the in-house design team to realize that vision. I love the built environment, discovering how things are put together and exploring new details and solutions to our design challenges. I feel that architecture provides one of the basic human needs: shelter. Because of this, I wanted to focus my career on buildings that provide basic human services and needs.
When I am away from the office, I enjoy walking around a city I have never been to before. I enjoy walking through cities, big and small, discovering interesting details of buildings and spaces, as well as the culture of the place. I also enjoy homebrewing and crafting the occasional batch of beer.
