Leah Engelhardt, AIA

Staff Architect

I chose to pursue a career in architecture because I wanted to positively impact people’s lives. I believe architecture can create a sense of belonging. Whether it’s for a school or a community, architecture can inspire interaction and collaboration, which is important to communities. I draw inspiration from a visit to Barcelona’s famous Sagrada Família. From the moment I walked in, I felt humbled by the endless ceilings and the colorful light shining through the stained glass.

As a Staff Architect, I get to assist with multiple projects and appreciate that the office culture fosters a sense of family through genuine respect and desire to help. I aspire to volunteer to rebuild orphanages in China.
