Interior Designer

McGranahan Architects is looking for an Interior Designer to collaborate with teams in the design of exemplary learning environments. They support our project teams in the areas of space planning, interior design, materials and finishes, and FFE selection and documentation.  In the case of a interiors only project they may act as the lead designer.  An ID may be involved in any aspect of the delivery of interior design services, from interviewing for work, to pre-design, to design, detailing and documentation, specification writing, or construction administration.  We’re looking for a someone forward thinking who thrives in a collaborative environment. Qualifications and Experience

  • Professional degree from an accredited school of interior design is preferred. An associate’s degree or equivalent from a community college or trade school may considered as a substitute.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architecture as a lead interior designer.
  • Educational design experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written and graphic communication abilities, as well as strong interpersonal communication skills

Salary range for this role is $85,000 to $105,000 and will be based on overall candidate qualifications and experience. We operate within a hybrid work model, supporting flexibility between office time and work from home.
