Dion Serra, AIA

Principal

I bring over 18 years of experience leading K–12 projects, guiding design teams, and ensuring projects meet their goals for schedule, budget, and quality. I value organization, clear communication, and collaboration, using these skills to create learning environments that serve students, educators, and communities effectively.

I chose architecture as a way to improve the daily lives of the people who use the buildings we create. Educational facilities can positively influence students for years, if not their entire lives, and I find it incredibly rewarding to engage with the communities and stakeholders who rely on these spaces. I approach each project thoughtfully, reflecting on what works, learning from every opportunity, and striving to make each project better than the last.

The culture at McGranahanPBK is equally important to me. I appreciate working with people who share a commitment to balancing work, life, and professional relationships while delivering meaningful design solutions.
