Benjamin Fields AIA, ALEP, LEED AP BD+C, OSPI BCA
Principal, Client Executive
I believe architecture responds to the spirit of a place, and the community is a central part of that spirit. They help define what a building can be and how it should serve the people who use it. As a Principal, I work to guide teams in refining projects, clarifying design intent, and translating community goals into every detail. I strive to create spaces that support the daily life of students, families, teachers, and community members, leaving a lasting impact of beauty and engagement with every client we serve.
As an Educational Planner, I bring clarity and focus to every stage of the planning process. I work to define scopes of service, refine project strategies, and foster collaborative relationships. By prioritizing inclusive and transparent planning, I help ensure that learning environments align with district-wide goals and provide meaningful, enriching experiences for students, educators, and the broader community.
My faith informs my approach to design. I see creating architecture as an act of worship, a way to reflect our true nature and honor God through our work. I also believe that the interaction between people and the built environment is active, and it is my hope that the spaces we create at McGranahan offer a positive experience for every user, every day.
