Kate Frisbie, AIA

Project Manager

My career has focused on educational, teaching, and learning spaces. I’ve had the opportunity to work as a design professional, represent the Owner during my tenure at OAC, and be the Owner at Seattle Pacific University as a Project Planner and Project Manager. These experiences include all phases of project development, from inception through construction. Here at McGranahan, I work directly with our K-12, Community and Technical College, and University clients through our on-call and small works agreements. I find fulfillment in working with and assessing existing conditions through projects that improve the client and user experience and extend the life of buildings.

Aligning with my passion for learning spaces, I volunteer within the design community. I have served on the AIA Southwest Washington Board, was a leader in the chapter’s Emerging Leaders Group, and chaired two fundraising auctions. More recently, I co-chaired AIA Seattle’s Committee on Architecture for Education, where I helped lead monthly meetings and continued to coordinate programming for chapter members. For the firm, I champion emerging architects as an NCARB AXP Coordinator.
