To support growth, the LWSD community passed a levy in February 2022 which
included additions at Finn Hill, Kirkland, and Redmond Middle Schools, providing
capacity for more students. Opened in 2001, the original 130,350 SF school was
designed for a capacity of 884 students. Since then, seven portables have been added
to the site. These are replaced with a new Learning Cluster wing to add enrollment
capacity of 200 students. The addition adds a 14,594 SF two-story Learning Cluster,
which includes eight core teaching stations to support 200 additional student capacity.
