Dhiren Babaria AIA

Senior Associate, Senior Designer

As a Senior Project Designer, I lead design efforts across a variety of projects, including K–12 schools, stadiums, and community facilities. I work to sharpen the design focus of project teams and ensure that concepts and design ideals are integrated into every aspect of a project. Collaborating closely with districts and communities, I facilitate workshops and charettes to ensure stakeholders are fully engaged in the design process. I bring both passion and technical expertise to every project, balancing creative vision with detailed architectural solutions.

For me, architecture is one of the most essential ingredients for a thriving community. It should bring people together, help realize a community’s aspirations, and serve the people who use it. I find the most rewarding aspect of my work is contributing to education facilities, one of the most important building typologies, where architecture can positively shape learning and growth. With much of my family connected to education, including my wife, a physics professor, I feel a personal connection to the work we do. The complexity and multi-faceted nature of educational design is challenging, but it is exactly these challenges that make the work meaningful and fulfilling.
